Start the French diagnostic

A study starting point, not a certificate

This multiple-choice diagnostic cannot establish your speaking, listening, reading and writing abilities as an official four-skill exam would. Its estimated level is for choosing practice. It is not an official CEFR certificate, a TCF or TEF score, an NCLC conversion or immigration evidence.

If you already have test results, use the four-skill NCLC checker instead.

Use the result in a study session

Note one recurring mistake rather than treating the level label as the whole result.
Choose the matching grammar review path, then try a fresh example.
Check comprehension separately with reading and listening practice.
Use speaking and writing tasks to see what you can produce without multiple-choice clues.

Your session and results

The diagnostic is not an offline tool: answers are sent to InfinLume's existing diagnostic service. Session and claim codes are stored in this browser to support resuming and transferring results. Your test session and private results are not intended for Google indexing. Read the privacy policy before starting on a shared device.
